Alasdair Yuill
MD Mantis Networks

Alasdair worked for IBM for 19 years holding senior positions in IBM South Africa and IBM France. After leaving IBM he undertook various executive roles in the UK finally being appointed Managing Director for a leading US provider of computer telephony integration solutions.

Upon his return to South Africa he followed an interest in transformation and became a shareholder and Director of BExchange (now Signa Advisors (Pty) Ltd), a BEE consultancy firm.

In September 2010 Alasdair moved to Salt Rock KZN where, via his company Mantis Networks, he started delivering BEE scorecard software to the BEE sector. Today Mantis has grown to over 400 users and is known for its project management, data analysis and BEE skills. Mantis represents Google and develops state-of-the-art solutions using the Google platform.

Alasdair is MD of Mantis Networks.


Murray Chabant
MD Signa Group

Murray qualified as a CA (SA) in 1995 with Deloitte. In 1998 Murray was appointed Financial Manager, then later Financial Director of SA's largest furniture manufacturer. In 2005 Murray started a consultancy that specialised in equity transactions and B-BBEE consulting.

Over the next six years he founded a successful BEE verification business which he sold in 2011 to purchase his interests in broader empowerment. In 2011 Murray joined the long established and successful BEExchange.

Murray is a member of the IOD, an accredited panel Director of Sirday Global and non-executive Chairman on the boards of two mining engineering companies.




Brigitte Brun (B.Sc. Human Resources)

Brigitte has had a wealth of hands on experience in project managing various assignments. The variety and breadth of these projects, from small business development, electoral management, change management and Good Governance consulting, highlight her flexibility and ability to adapt to challenging tasks. 

Brigitte currently focuses on B-BBEE strategies and verification and has specialist skills in organisational transformation and change management especially in the area of equity and diversity management. She has worked locally with both private and public sector organisations and managed the South African aspect of an international research on Equity and Diversity in the Higher Education System spanning 5 countries.

Brigitte has co-authored a book on the Amended Codes of Good Practice which was published by LexisNexis (the only book of this nature in South Africa).

Brigitte is the Chief Operating Officer of AQRate KZN Verification Services and the Managing Member of Africandi Business Solutions.
